10:45-11:15: Presentation of the Case Study from Harvard and Yale
Mark Custer and Susan Pyzynski; 15-20 minutes, plus time for conversation
11:15-Noon: Morning Wrap-Up
Discussion of the themes presented overall by the four case studies, and the creation of affinity groups that will address these themes in the afternoon working sessions.
Afternoon Session (open to pre-registrants)
Noon-2pm: Lunch (provided for all pre-registrants)
2:00-2:45: Affinity Groups Discussion
These groups will assemble to work on the issues raised by the morning’s case studies. They will be tasked with producing deliverables appropriate to their theme, such as user/researcher stories, persona creation, scenario investigations, data structure templates, or other similar expressions of the ideas being discussed.
2:45-3:15: Affinity Groups Results Presentation
3:15-4:00: Cross-Affinity Group Discussion
The original groups will be reconfigured in order to facilitate a cross-thematic conversation about the topics being revealed.
4:00-4:30: Cross-Affinity Group Lightning Talks
4:30-5:00: Planning Session for Saturday’s Work
What preliminary conclusions have arisen? Given what has been revealed, what shape should the final deliverable from this workshop take?
